Some lanes on Fowler shut down on Monday for work
Beginning Monday, April 20, travel lanes on Fowler Street in Fort Myers will be reduced to two lanes at the Second Street intersection while crews construct curbs and sidewalk, and restore the west side of the intersection. This work is part of the City of Fort Myers Downtown Utility & Streetscape Improvements Project and is expected to last approximately two weeks.
Variable message signs will be placed on Fowler Street north of Second Street to alert motorists of the lane shift.
This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and unforeseen underground conditions, etc.
