Lee BIA to present its second annual ‘Bricks & Sticks’ Inshore Fishing Tournament
The Lee Building Industry Association’s second annual “Bricks & Sticks” Fishing Tournament is set for Saturday, May 9.
Anglers and their guests will begin the festivities with a Captain’s Meeting on May 8, at Tarpon Point Marina.
This includes a Hooters dinner, open bar and live music from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The fishing tournament will take place on Saturday, May 9, with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Tournament hours are until 4 p.m. Anglers will be fishing for two snook, two redfish and two ladyfish: “total length,” photo release. They will also be able to participate in a big redfish weigh-in.
All attendees will have the opportunity to participate in both live and silent auctions, from 5 until 9 p.m. The awards banquet will begin at 7 p.m. with an Outback Steakhouse dinner, open bar and live music until 9:30 p.m. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
The event is open to BIA members and the general public. The fee is $180 per angler for early registration, $225 per angler after May 1.
