Miracle to trade bats for putters
In golf you “Drive for Show and Putt for Dough.” Miracle Baseball is looking for some of the best putters in Southwest Florida when they play host to their fourth annual miniature golf tournament on Sunday, May 3.
The Miracle miniature golf tournament is open to golfers of all ages and will be held at Castle Golf on Gladiolus Drive, next to Lakes Park. The entry fee is $25 per person or $100 per foursome and will begin with a shotgun start at 6:30 p.m. As an extra keepsake, order a team autographed hole sign for only $75.
Participants will be teamed with a Miracle player on all 18 holes of golf, receive a commemorative T-shirt, beverages on the course and team photo. Prizes and trophies will be awarded after the tournament at the “19th Hole Party” at Applebee’s.
“We had a ton of fun last year,” said Miracle General Manager Steve Gliner. “We’ve held our regular golf tournament for many years now, but this gives families a chance to spend the evening together and gives everyone a chance to participate.”
Space is limited and golfers can register by calling the Miracle office at 239-768-4210 or view and print a registration form from the Miracle website at www.miraclebaseball.com.
