FGCU’s Family Resource Center offers 10-week summer camp program
Florida Gulf Coast University College of Education announces its Family Resource Center is offering a summer camp program for children 6 8 years old, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 15 to Aug. 21. The 10-week program is $1,500 payable in installments.
This premier summer program offers an excellent teacher to child ratio with a stimulating curriculum designed by early care experts, Resource Center officials said. Small group experiences will include tennis and swimming lessons, biking, science, cooking, carpentry, and art and literacy activities. The program will be led by Kim Sands, a graduate of the College of Education.
The FGCU College of Education’s Family Resource Center is one of the first early childhood programs to earn accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals.
