A bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, and perseverance.

‘Fame-The Musical’ continues to May 2 at LSHS Center for the Arts

By Staff | Apr 30, 2009

Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts has announced its musical production “Fame-The Musical.”

A bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, and perseverance.

Come out and see our talented young stars in this classic Broadway hit, promoters said. It’s being held April 29, 30, May 1 and 2 in the LSHS auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. (Wednesday and Thursday get $1 off at the door if you wear an LSHS T-shirt!)
