Fort Myers man faces drug trafficking charges
A two-month narcotics investigation into the illegal trafficking of cocaine has resulted in the arrest of a Fort Myers man today on multiple charges.
Stanlin Florian, 22, of 2642 Second Street, Fort Myers, has been charged with four counts of trafficking in cocaine, one count of sale of marijuana and one count of possession of marijuana after investigators say he sold drugs to undercover operatives.
The Fort Myers Police Department Special Investigations Group and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at Florian’s residence late this afternoon. He was taken into custody without incident.
Investigators say during the two-month investigation, operatives purchased cocaine from the suspect. As of today, more than 200 grams of cocaine valued in excess of $5,000 dollars has been seized. In addition to cocaine found in the home today, detectives discovered a small amount of marijuana and a .32 Caliber Keltec P-32 handgun, officials said.
Florian has been booked into the Lee County Jail.
The investigation is still on-going, officials said.
