From the Lee County Sheriff’s Office

The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local,

state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past week the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of nine drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On April 29, 2009, at approximately 02:40 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Elvira Mercado, D.O.B. 01/25/57, of 3714 SW 18th Street, Lehigh Acres, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance. The incident occurred in the area of 1700 Monroe Street, Fort Myers.

On April 30, 2009, at approximately 12:39 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Alexander Duvon Watson, D.O.B. 06/20/80, of 4100 Edgewood Avenue, Fort Myers, on Misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 4205 12th Street W., Lehigh Acres.

On April 30, 2009, at approximately 03:36 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jeremy Colin Livingstone, D.O.B. 02/28/84, of 10721 Gladiolus Drive, Fort Myers, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Controlled Substance without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 4814 Duera Mae Drive, Fort Myers.

On April 30, 2009, at approximately 11:46 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Danielle Lynn Weekley, D.O.B. 09/08/83, of 4071 Sunflower Circle, LaBelle, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Methamphetamine. The incident occurred in the area of 14490 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers.

On May 3, 2009, at approximately 02:09 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Thomas Ross Hurst, D.O.B. 08/18/83, of 200 Davis Road, Lehigh Acres, on Misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Homestead Road, Lehigh Acres.

On May 3, 2009, at approximately 07:02 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Timothy Alonzo Williams, D.O.B. 02/20/76, of 3942 Desoto Avenue, Fort Myers, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 115 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres.

On May 3, 2009, at approximately 08:43 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Rodrigo Hernandez, D.O.B. 09/20/80, of 4958 Tice Street, Fort Myers, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident occurred in the area of 1441 Ortiz Avenue, Fort Myers.

On May 3, 2009, at approximately 10:25 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Basilio Chautia Santos, D.O.B. 01/02/79, of 4926 Holly Drive, Fort Myers, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident occurred in the area of 1441 Ortiz Avenue, Fort Myers.

On May 3, 2009, at approximately 11:49 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Justin Hagop Panossian, D.O.B. 11/01/83, of 2273 Gish Lane, North Fort Myers, on Felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 545 Pine Island Road, North Fort Myers.
