Lehigh woman charged in Subway heist; another suspect is sought

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said that as a result of the arrest of a suspect in the robbery Friday night of the Red Robin restaurant at the Gulf Coast Center, they have arrested a Lehigh woman and are looking for another Lehigh Acres suspect who have been linked to other armed robberies in Lee County and Fort Myers dating back to October of last year.

Alisa c. Montalvo, 22, of 527 Lillon Ave., in Lehigh was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday,and charged with one count of robbery with a firearm for her role in a robbery that occurred at the Subway shop on Homestead Rd. in Lehigh on October 23, 2008.

Investigators said that on Friday, at around 6:02 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery at the Red Robin restaurant, located at Gulf Coast Town Center. Robbery Unit detectives arrested and charged Myron Seville Vann, 23, of 3758 Madison Avenue, Fort Myers, with one count of robbery with a firearm.

Detectives said that also obtained during the interview with the suspect was information linking Vann to nearly a dozen armed robberies in both unincorporated Lee County and Fort Myers dating back to October 2008. Because of this information, investigators with the Fort Myers Police Department also met with the suspect for questioning.

Detectives said that thanks to the combined efforts of both agencies, several additional robbery suspects were identified, including Michael Antwon Thomas, and Alisa C. Montalvo of Lehigh Acres.
