Spaces still available at Camp Imaginarium and Fun at the Fort Adventure Camp
A full summer of camps is planned at the Fort Myers Museums! And great news, there’s still space available for most camps.
The Imaginarium Hands-On Museum & Aquarium and the Southwest Florida Museum of History are hosting a variety of exciting camps for summer.
Camp Imaginarium & Fun at the Fort offer fun and exciting camp sessions filled with educational hands-on activities, demonstrations, and exhibit exploration excitement! Dates are Monday-Friday June 15 – Aug. 21.
Camp themes include magic, marine biology, forensic science, robotics, rocketry, engineering, architecture, and archaeology. The camps use an innovative curriculum integrating science, the arts, and humanities, to inspire the imagination and encourage a love of learning! All camp sessions include fun and educational hands-on activities, demonstrations, special guests and exhibit exploration.
Both museums provide a positive and supportive learning environment with a high level of personal attention for each camper by museum education staff, certified teachers, and specially trained Jr. Camp Assistants. Campers are grouped by their upcoming grade level, which allows the staff to design appropriate academic curricula based on the Sunshine State Standards, and promotes, healthy social experiences for all campers.
Camp Sessions for rising K-7th graders begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Pre-campers may be signed in as early as 7:45 a.m. Post-campers must be signed out by 5:45 p.m. Camp registration is on a first-come first-serve basis and must be done in advance.
Officials recommend that you register soon as camps are filling quickly. Member pricing is available and you can now register online. Visit the web site at www.imaginariumfortmyers.com or register directly at: www.regonline.com/campimaginarium
