Gold Coast Rotary awards scholarships
The Gold Coast Rotary of Cape Coral announces its 2009 recipients for the Goldcoast Rotary Scholarship Award. They are Alina Ciornii of Cape Coral High School and Signé Thomas of Mariner High School.
There will be an awards luncheon on Friday, May 29, at 11:30 a.m. at Gulf Coast Village. Cape Coral’s Mayor Jim Burch will be presenting the scholarship award certificates to the scholarship winners.
The Rotary Goldcoast Scholarship recipients must show an active involvement in school and the community while maintaining an un-weighted grade point average of 3.2 or better. The scholarships are $4,000 scholarships payable at $1,000 per year for four years to each recipient’s school of choice.
