Homes are to be auctioned off in Lehigh, Alva Wednesday
Williams & Williams is conducting an auction run on May 20 and 21, auctioning off about 10 homes in just two days in the Lehigh Acres, Alva and Naples area. The addresses for each auction are provided below.
Residents will learn that real estate auction is a quick and economical way to turn empty buildings into lived-in homes, breathing life back into the neighborhood and revitalizing Lehigh Acres and nearby areas, said Amy Bates, senior vice president of marketing and operations at Williams & Williams.
Homes sit empty as a result of foreclosure. The real estate market has suffered a hard hit and homes that were over-valued sit vacant as a result. The traditional approach to buying and selling real estate list and wait is not only the reason for the downward turn in the market, it is also not an effective method for moving property into the hands of buyers, she said.
Homes are sold for true value and everyone reaps the benefits. Not only do banks off-load large numbers of boarded real estate; homeowners move into houses that in some cases have sat empty for years, she said.
Williams & Williams is dedicated to increasing liquidity, trust and transparency for both buyers and sellers of real estate and Founder Dean Williams believes that auction is the way real estate should be bought and sold in this country — in any economy.
