Dolora Schlesinger

Dolora Ann Schlesinger, 61, of Lehigh Acres died on May 22, 2009 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers. She was born on June 3, 1947 in Dearborn, Mich. She was the daughgter of Charles F. and Mildred (Ferguson) Ryan.

A former 40-year resident of Fair Lawn, N.J., she was employed as a bookkeeper and accountant for financial consultants and was a member of St. Anne’s Church where she was member of the choir, a lector and an eucharistic minister. A local resident for the past two years, she was a member of Blessed Pope John XXIII Church where she served as a lector.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael Schlesinger; her children, Julie Beth (Ken) Grooms of Lakeland, Fla., Leigh Ryan (Ryan) Muller of The Woodlands, Texas, and Andrew Charles Schlesinger of Kingston, N.Y. and four grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Blessed Pope John XXIII Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers.
