Heron Pond to hold open house May 29-30

Heron Pond, a senior active apartment community, will hold a public grand opening celebration on May 29-30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the community’s Phase II Recreation Building. The community is located at 1232 Village Lakes Blvd. in Lehigh Acres. Free transportation is available upon request.

The grand opening will include a “Mr. Heron Pond” contest, a Wii competition, bingo, cards, checkers and chess. Guests will have the chance to win a Caribbean cruise or a Wii gaming system. Attendees at the grand opening celebration are eligible for a half-month free leasing incentive and a $300 gift card when they sign a lease. Some restrictions apply. All residents must meet qualifying income levels, officials said.
