Narcotics Arrest Update from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office

The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local, state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past week the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 15 drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On May 18, 2009, at approximately 11:54 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Andrez Ochoa, D.O.B. 08/19/90, of 11 Richmond Ave, Lehigh

Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of 403 Bears Street, Lehigh Acres, .

On May 19, 2009, at approximately 12:12 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Antonio DeLa Caridad Ruiz, D.O.B. 03/19/91, of 11 Richmond Ave,

Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 403 Bear Street, Lehigh Acres.

On May 19, 2009, at approximately 12:39 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Curtis Hernandez Jr, D.O.B. 04/07/90, of 312 N. Cleveland Ave.,

North Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 403 Bears Street, Lehigh

Acres.

On May 19, 2009, at approximately 04:26 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Kyle William Robinson, D.O.B. 07/30/87, of 9132 N. Cypress Drive,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident

occurred in the area of Alico Rd. / S. Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers.

On May 19, 2009, at approximately 04:27 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Christopher Robert Oliver, D.O.B. 05/09/90, of 9120 Pittsburg Blvd.,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine, Possession

of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Alico / S. Tamiami, Fort

Myers.

On May 19, 2009, at approximately 04:38 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Dusty David Peltz, D.O.B. 08/06/90, of 9251 Shaddock Road, Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident

occurred in the area of Alico Rd. / S. Tamiami Trail., Fort Myers.

On May 19, 2009, at approximately 11:23 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Julio Cesar Manzanares, D.O.B. 02/22/69, of 1000 15th Williams

Street, Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Grant Blvd. / Milwaukee Blvd.,

Lehigh Acres.

On May 22, 2009, at approximately 12:16 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Brennen Keith Melvin, D.O.B. 11/15/90, of 11627 Timberline Cir, Fort

Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of 12561 Coconut Creek Ct., Fort Myers.

On May 22, 2009, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Ryan Michael Caviness, D.O.B. 12/16/89, of 12270 Coconut Creek

Ct, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 12561 Coconut Creek Ct., Fort Myers.

On May 22, 2009, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Robert Michael Collins, D.O.B. 11/02/90, of 10195 Avalon Lake Cir,

Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

On May 23, 2009, at approximately 01:49 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Andres Soto, D.O.B. 05/09/86, of 8619 S. Lake Cir, Fort Myers, on

misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of 15250 Lakes Of Laguna, Fort Myers.

On May 23, 2009, at approximately 10:14 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Julie Honey, D.O.B. 04/20/70, of 535 Zebra Dr, North Fort Myers, on

felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance without a

Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 535 Pine Island Road, North

Fort Myers.

On May 24, 2009, at approximately 03:44 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jessie Jose Estrada, D.O.B. 08/06/86, of 1109 Cherokee Ave,

On May 24, 2009, at approximately 03:47 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Derek Harris, D.O.B. 03/31/75, of 506 SE 6th Ave, Cape Coral, on

On May 24, 2009, at approximately 08:41 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Roy William Kirksey, D.O.B. 04/29/59, of Fort Myers, on

misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijauna. The incident

occurred in the area of Imperial Shores / Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs.
