A Cape Coral motorcycle patrol officer was involved in an accident at Hancock Bridge Parkway and Cultural Park Boulevard at approximately 3:17 p.m., according to city spokesperson Connie Barron.
The officer’s identity and condition are not currently being released.
The officer has been transported to the Lee Memorial hospital as a trauma alert patient, and Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash, Barron said.
