Sheriff’s Office releases photo of suspect vehicle
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has released photos of a vehicle they believe was used in a parking lot purse snatching today.
Deputies responded to the Wal-Mart at 14821 Six Mile Cypress Parkway at 11:30 a.m. today in reference to a robbery, officials said.
A white male had exited a vehicle and approached a woman in the parking lot. The man grabbed the victim’s purse and, when she fought back, displayed an unknown black firearm, investigators said.
The robber then fled in the vehicle, which was driven by a white female.
The vehicle appears to be a dark blue Cadillac two door with a blue vinyl top, officials said. There is excessive fading and possibly missing paint on the hood of the car.
Anyone with information regarding this vehicle and/or crime is asked to call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
