Man wanted on charges of sexual battery
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on charges of caital sexual battery on a juvenile. Mario Rodriguez-Hernandez, 37, is believed to be in the area of either Pine Manor or Tice, and could be driving a white GMC pick-up truck.
Investigators were notified of an incident involving Rodriguez-Hernandez on Friday, June 5, in which the complainant told detectives that Rodriguez-Hernandez exposed himself and inappropriately touched the juvenile victim. The location of the offense is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
Rodriguez-Hernandez’s last known address is listed as 1040 Southdale Road, Fort Myers. Detectives have been unable to locate him, but believe he is still in the area. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’5″, 150 pounds, brown eyes, black hair. When arrested, he will be charged with two counts of capital sexual battery, detectives said.
