To The Editor:

Christ United Methodist Church will be reaching out to its neighbors June 21 to 26 through a program called Celebrate Jesus. Church members will be doing random acts of kindness, visiting and praying for area businesses, and visiting local neighborhoods.

The week of events culminates with a block party at the church on Friday, June 26 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There will be free food, bounce houses, bungee run, gladiator jousting, games, activities, informational booths, children’s finger printing, prize drawings

and live entertainment from Lehigh residents and the band Jubilee.

Jubilee captivates audiences of all backgrounds. They are a melting pot of genres. Combining powerful lyrics with rock, R&B, pop, acoustic, and hip hop styles; the eclectic and high energy performance highlights their musical dexterity and ability to reach fans of all cultures and generations.

They have performed alongside national and award winning artist such as, This Beautiful Republic, The Newsboys, KJ 52, Ayeisha Woods, and Manic Drive. In April, Jubilee was featured as the guest musical artist for the nationally syndicated show, Raw TV. They have participated in hundreds of conferences,

concerts and events. Their heart for the world is evident in their work at youth centers, juvenile detention centers and mission projects overseas.

We want to thank the many people and businesses who are donating their time and items for the block party.
