A Bonita Springs woman accused of burning a teenaged girl on the neck with a curling iron during an argument has been charged with child cruelty.
April Arnold, 50, of 27633 Imperial Shores Boulevard, Bonita Springs, was charged Tuesday by deputies responding to a domestic violence call.
The victim stated that Arnold and she were arguing when Arnold took a curling iron from her. The victim told investigators Arnold burned her on the back of the neck with the curling iron and scratched her back several times, leaving marks.
After conducting an interview with the victim and observing burns and scratches on her, deputies arrested Arnold, officials said.
