The Lee County Extension, in collaboration with the Beekeepers Association of Southwest Florida offers an introductory beekeeping class this summer.
Classes begin on Friday July 31. Other class dates are Aug. 7, 14, 21, 2009 Space is limited to 30 students.
Prepaid registered students receive full startup kit including a bee suit, bee veil, gloves, bee box and books at a cost well below the real value of the materials.
