The Alliance for the Arts announces new Saturday hours. During July and August, the Alliance will be open for business between 8 a.m. to noon.
With the new GreenMarket, bringing more than 400-plus guests each Saturday morning, the Alliance will open its doors earlier to serve the community.
“The GreenMarket is attracting new faces to the Alliance campus, giving us yet another opportunity in which to showcase local artists and promote cultural opportunities Lee County,” said Lydia Black, executive director of the Alliance in a prepared statement. “Our new Saturday hours will ensure that each GreenMarket participant has an opportunity to pick up literature from cultural and arts organizations, visit the gallery and browse our gift shop.”
The organization invited the public to spend a Saturday morning at the Alliance. Visit the GreenMarket, take a stroll through the 2D/3D All Florida Juried Exhibition showing through Aug. 7, 2009 and then relax under the old mango tree.
