Palm Beach Cardinals hit Miracle hard

The Fort Myers Miracle had one of their worst games of the season Sunday and the result was a 13-2 loss to the Palm Beach Cardinals at Hammond Stadium.
The Cardinals have scored 23 runs in winning the first two games of the series.
After winning the first-half Florida State League South Division, the Miracle have slumped to 8-9 in the second half.
The Miracle took the lead Sunday on a Mark Dolenc RBI triple in the second inning but it was all Cardinals after that.
Tyler Robertson (5-5) suffered the loss after giving up six earned runs on 10 hits in five innings. Spencer Steedley surrendered five earned runs in 1 2/3 innings. Loek van Mil gave up two earned runs.
Richard Castillo (4-8) got the victory for the Cardinals. He allowed two runs on four hits in six innings.
Blake Murphy went 4-for-6 with a homer run, double, two singles, and four RBI for the visitors. Aaron Luna also added a home run.
Mike McCardell takes the mound tonight, Monday as the Miracle try to salvage the final game of the set. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
