Teachers honored over the school year at Lehigh Acres Middle School.

The following teachers were selected over the last nine months as Teachers of the Year. They are shown from left to right, Dana Arhar, cited as Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year; Principal Joe Pitura was seleced Reading Administrator of the Year for the District of Lee County; Carol Anderson was a Golden Apple Scholarship winner at FGCU: Sharla Wold is Lee County’s Middle School Reading Teacher of the Year; Beverly Spinosa was seleced Learining for Life Teacher of the Year; Eileen Cherbini was a Golden Apple finalist; and William Gerstner was selected Rotary Club Teacer of the Year.
