Copperhead ribbon cutting; golf course is open seven days a week

The Copperhead Golf Course off of Beth Stacey Blvd., and 23rd St. recently held a ribbon cutting as a new member of the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce.

Shown here during the ceremony are from left to right, Cindy Dodd and David Meyer, both Chamber members; Lehigh’s Honorary Mayor Marylou Land; Ray Grady, general manager of the golf club and Kelly Little, head golf pro; John Gaham, Jere Carrick, Julie Camp and Edd Weiner, all members of the Chamber. The golf club is owned separately from the adjoining Copperhead community development.

The course is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. For more informatin or to set tee times, call 369-8200. There are 75 golf carts and about 120 acres of golf club area. Added to the 900 lots adjoning the course, the total amount of acreage is somewhere around 320 acres.
