The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will resume monthly general membrship luncheons with a number of what of things they call improvements.

According to Joe Whalen, the Chamber president, the next general membership luncheon will held on Tuesday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“We will keep our focus on providing valuable information to our business members. Networking will still be the first order of business and begins at 11 a.m. Our new monthly luncheons will have a master of ceremonies. New Chamber of Commerce members will be introduced each month and tell us about themselves and their businesses.

“We will continue to recognize the Lee County Deputy Sheriff of the Month, the LACC Member of the Month, and the LACC Employee of the Month. We’ll end the luncheons with a 15-minute networking game as well as the business card raffle,” he said.

Also beginning in July, local businesses can be luncheon sponsors. For $100, the sponsor will enjoy a free display table and be the only business able to place materials on each table at the luncheon. Sponsors will also have an opportunity to promote their business at the luncheon providing a two-minute “infomercial.”

Members should remember to RSVP at the Chamber Office with the number of attendees for the luncheon so they can plan accordingly.
