The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld.

In the past week the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 12 drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On July 13, 2009, at approximately 03:41 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Lacreita Walton, D.O.B. 02/23/81, of 5610 Tenth Ave., Fort Myers,

on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of Mason Corbin Ct. / Cedarbend Dr., Fort Myers.

On July 13, 2009, at approximately 08:03 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Daniel Todd Strickler, D.O.B. 03/19/77, of 1577 Matthew Dr., Fort

Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Cape Coral Parkway / Tarpon Ct., Cape Coral .

On July 13, 2009, at approximately 09:41 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Cesar Ramon McClatchy, D.O.B. 09/14/71, of 2001 Airport Pulling

Rd, Naples, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of S. Tamiami Trail / Corkscrew Rd., Fort Myers.

On July 13, 2009, at approximately 10:46 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Devaris Johvon Caldwell, D.O.B. 02/16/89, of 4160 Washington

Ave, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 4437 29th Street SW, Lehigh Acres.

On July 13, 2009, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joshua Jarmell Moore, D.O.B. 04/27/88, of 2950 Royal Palm Ave,

Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of 4437 29th Street SW, Lehigh Acres.

On July 14, 2009, at approximately 02:16 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jennifer Marcia Darrington, D.O.B. 06/20/77, of 9202 3rd Street, on

misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of Palm Beach Blvd. / Joel blvd., Alva.

On July 14, 2009, at approximately 06:55 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Matthew Carl Gundersen, D.O.B. 11/11/64, of 4391 Little Hickory

Rd., Bonita Springs, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 12575 S. Cleveland Ave., Fort

Myers.

On July 15, 2009, at approximately 03:21 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Amy Jean Baker, D.O.B. 05/14/88, of Fort Myers, on felony drug

charges for Possession of Marijuana with intent to Sell/Deliver., Possession

of Controlled Substance without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the

area of 2523 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres.

On July 15, 2009, at approximately 03:37 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Anthony Michael Schillaci, D.O.B. 10/01/84, of Lehigh Acres, on

felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in

the area of 2523 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres.

On July 15, 2009, at approximately 05:19 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Gary Ladon Hale, D.O.B. 03/05/83, of 1947 Queen Street, North Fort

Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of 691 Camellia Dr., North Fort Myers.

On July 16, 2009, at approximately 02:14 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joao Marcos Barbosa, D.O.B. 11/23/87, of 16998 Colony Lakes

Blvd., Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Daniels Pkwy. / S. Tamiami

Trail, Fort Myers.

On July 19, 2009, at approximately 02:03 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Lon Robert Speer, D.O.B. 03/24/88, of 5051 Nature Way, Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of Kramer /

Kittyhawk, Fort Myers.
