There were reports Tuesday night of a fatal motorcycle crash on Sr. 82 along the edge of Lehigh Acres.

The Florida Highway patrol identified the victim as Carlos Navarro, 27, of Immokalee, who they say died when he crashed while driving a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja bike.

According to reports, Florida Highway Patrol troopers were on the scene of the accident at the SR-82 and Harcourt Ave., intersection.

Officials said he lost control while attempting to turn into SR82. His bike went off the highway and ran into a sign, reports said. The call was reported to the FHP just before 8:30 p.m.
