‘Sampling of the Symphony’ at the Veranda

By Staff | Jul 28, 2009

The Veranda will play host as the Southwest Florida Symphony invites music lovers interested in the Symphony as well as loyal patrons to a “Sampling of the Symphony” on August 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a special performance by pianist Charles Heard and a rare chance to be one-on-one with our Maestro Michael Hall.

A “Sampling of the Symphony” will provide all new subscribers with discounts and free tickets to the upcoming Barbara B. Mann sponsored performance of David Garrett, the world-renowned violinist recently seen on PBS. These free tickets and discounts are available at “Sampling of the Symphony” parties only.

The Veranda, nestled in the heart of historic downtown Fort Myers, provides the picturesque background around which the Southwest Florida Symphony can provide a teaser of the tremendous talent that lies within. Along with unique encounters, discounts and free tickets to partnering events, guests will be treated to a sampling of the Veranda’s finest appetizers. A cash bar will be provided for those wanting an after-hours cocktail.

For more information contact call the Symphony office at 418-0996 or visit on line at www.swflso.org/events.
