How do you think Lehigh residents will vote on atax of $100 per parcel tohelp the Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District’s financial problems?

“I’m on a limited income and I can’t pay that kind of additional tax and I don’t think others on fixed incomes here can either.”

“No way will the voters of Lehigh do that. I was a volunteer firemen up north and I think they need to consider that type of system in Lehigh.”

“I’m moving to Lehigh, but I will not vote for a $100 tax on my land in addition to the taxes that I will also have to pay. Everyone must remember it is for every parcel and if you own more than one, you will be taxed $100 on each.”

“No, the voters won’t vote for a $100 per parcel tax. It’s an extra tax on all the other high taxes that we face.”

“No, I believe people cannot afford another tax. People living in Lehigh are having hard times to pay their rents and mortgages and many have lost their homes and others have no jobs and there are many who get free food just to be able to eat. The tax won’t pass here.”
