Now you can post your organizational events that are happening in Lehigh Acres. You can post to The Citizen’s Community Calendar. All you have to do is click on the newspaper’s website at: lehighacrescitizen.com and go to Monthly Calendar and click on Submit Events (under the Calendar) and post your event.

This is a non-profit site available to club groups and other organizations.

Tucker’s Charity Golf Tourney set for October

Dr. Tucker’s Charity Golf Tournament’s 17th annual Charity Golf is Saturday, Oct. 17 at Majestic Golf Club at 350 Homestead Rd. in Lehigh. Shotgun is 8 a.m. and you shod not arrive no later than 7:30 a.m.

Ticket donations are $45 and for members, $35.

The donations include a day of golf, carts, prizes and lunch at the Course restaurant.

You can sponsor a hole for $50.

All profits collected go to a worthy cause, helping all patients less fortunate and in need of financial help, said Mary Raymond, chairperson of the event.

Celebrate 55th anniversary of Lehigh Acres on Aug.1 on LRMC lawn

The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the founding Lehigh Acres with a day of fun for the family. The celebration will be held on the lawn of Lehigh Regional Hospital on August 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be open to the public. Activities will include

bounce houses, dunk tank, bake-off, face painting and more. You can provide a fun game of your choice for the children of our community by calling the

Chamber Special Events Chairwoman, Cindy Dodd at 239-368-0358.

Admission to the event will be $10 per family or $5 with the donation of a non-perishable food item or a package of disposable diapers. Donations will be

given to Lehigh Community Services and Destiny Diaper Bank. Businesses are welcome to showcase their business for a minimal fee of $10 per table. Call
