Seminole Gulf Railroad will be performing major rehabilitation of the railway crossing on Alico Road beginning the morning of Monday, Aug.
The roadway will be reduced to one lane in each direction for approximately four weeks approaching the railroad crossing. The anticipated completion date is Monday, Aug. 31. Motorists traveling between I-75 and U.S. 41 are advised to avoid this area and seek alternative routes during the construction period, as the reduced roadway lanes will produce traffic congestion and longer than expected travel times.
