Only got bleeped on FOX-TV once

By Staff | Aug 5, 2009

To The Editor,

I was interviewed on FOX TV this past Saturday morning about my feelings on the current health plan moving through Congress.

It was a great interview and they were interested why veterans and seniors are so afraid of the health plan. They wanted to know why we are ripping up our AARP cards. I explained that I started losing faith with AARP when they named Danny Glover as their spokesman right after he hugged Castro and said how bad George W. Bush and the U.S. were for mistreating him.

When they decided to throw the seniors under the bus and support Obama’s healthcare, that did it for me and most retired military.

I am from Lehigh but my wife and I are traveling the county in our home bus. I am in Austin, Texas, at a Service Officer school and I talked to as many of the 300 members present as I could about canceling their AARP.

I was only bleeped once and that was when I referred to Obama lying as Obama speak; they said for me not to refer to him as Obama Bin Lyin as I had when they first interviewed me.
