FROM THE LEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local, state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past week the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 15 drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On July 31, 2008, at approximately 09:52 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Arlington St Clair Babb III, D.O.B. 12/30/90, of 1438 Gardenia Ave,

Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Burnt Store / Tropicana, Cape Coral, .

On July 27, 2009, at approximately 08:48 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Tomas Matthew Malave, D.O.B. 07/07/83, of 5506 Cheshire Drive,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine, Possession

of Marijuana with Intent to Sell/Deliver. The incident occurred in the area of

11796 Metro Pkwy, Fort Myers.

On July 28, 2009, at approximately 02:15 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Devin Morgan Campbell, D.O.B. 10/17/66, of 3170 Metecumbe Key

Rd, Punta Gorda, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 2115 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd.,

Fort Myers.

On July 28, 2009, at approximately 03:13 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Richard Kelly Osteen, D.O.B. 03/31/60, of 18141 Slater Road, North

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of 7978 McDaniels Drive, North Fort Myers.

On July 29, 2009, at approximately 05:40 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Adam Moffett, D.O.B. 10/08/82, of 2835 Central Ave, Fort Myers, on

misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of Austin Keane Ct. / Brixtom Loop, Estero.

On July 30, 2009, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joseph Patrick O’Reilly, D.O.B. 02/25/66, of 5281 Whitten Drive,

Naples, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Hickory Blvd. / McLaughlin, Bonita Springs.

On July 30, 2009, at approximately 03:54 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Michael Allen Montgomery, D.O.B. 01/03/82, of 20650 Nalle Rd, North

Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijauna. The

incident occurred in the area of Hart Drive. / Zoysia Lane, North Fort Myers.

On July 30, 2009, at approximately 01:07 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Ian Townsend, D.O.B. 08/23/75, of 4828 Flamingo Bay Dr., St.

James City, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of Burnt Store /

Kismet Pkwy, Cape Coral.

On July 31, 2009, at approximately 03:24 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joseph Valentine, D.O.B. 10/03/90, of 9221 Crystal View Ct, Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the

area of Flamingo Rd. / San Carlos Blvd., Fort Myers.

On July 31, 2009, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Alvester Reymone Conner, D.O.B. 10/05/90, of 3811 Metro Pkwy,

incident occurred in the area of Burnt Store / NW 2nd Terr. Cape Coral.

On August 1, 2009, at approximately 12:14 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested John Anderson St Surin, D.O.B. 12/04/84, of 4953

Golfview Blvd, Lehigh Acres, on felony drug charges for Possession of

Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of

Hawalaska / Leonard Blvd., Lehigh Acres.

On August 1, 2009, at approximately 12:29 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested John Trotta, D.O.B. 11/02/83, of 1098 N. Tamiami Trail,

North Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Lee Blvd. / Westgate, Lehigh

Acres.

On August 1, 2009, at approximately 12:58 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Tyree Michelle Friedlander, D.O.B. 03/26/82, of 317 SE

17th Street, Cape Coral, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Le Blvd. / Westgate, Lehigh

On August 1, 2009, at approximately 02:22 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Jessica James Stroup, D.O.B. 11/01/83, of 4436 Orchid

Blvd, Cape Coral, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of Lee Blvd./ SR 82, Lehigh Acres, .

On August 1, 2009, at approximately 02:33 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested John Christopher Reed Jr., D.O.B. 09/18/86, of 402 Leeland

Heights Blvd., Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession

of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Lee Blvd. /Westgate,

Lehigh Acres.
