The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death in Bonita Springs after a young man’s body was discovered outside a home this morning.
The office received a call from a homeowner at 8:57 stating there was a body outside the door at 10652 Cape Verde Lane. The victim appeared to be in his 20s and of Hispanic heritage, officials said.
Investigators say the death does not appear natural, so they have opened a homicide investigation. The victim’s identification and cause of death have not yet been determined.
No other information was released.
