All crew members survived in good condition after Lee County MEDSTAR went down in the intracoastal waterway near Upper Captiva around 12:30 this morning.

The helicopter is an American Eurocopter EC-145, tail number N911LZ. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified and are sending an investigation team.

The other aircraft will be in service later today.
