– Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corp (LACPC) will meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 9 at Veterans Park Community Center. Call 340-8658 for more information. The LACPC meets on the second Wednesday night of each month and is open to the public.

– East County Water Control District (ECWCD) will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 24. Call 368-0044 for more information. Call for dates of budget hearings.

– The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District will meet at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 at Veterans Park Community Center. Call 303-5300 for dates of special meetings concerning the budget hearings during August and September.

– Lehigh Community Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at New Image Ministries, 29 S. Homestead Rd. Email Damon Shelor at president@lehighcouncil.com for more information. The Community Council meets on the third Monday of each month.
