All boys between 11-17 are invited to an open house to experience the adventure of scouting on August 31, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Different events that showcase Boy Scouts will be available to try out and scouts and parents will be available to answer any questions.

The Troop 11 Scout House is located at Christ United Methodist Church, 1430 Hoemstead Rd N, at the corner of Lee Blvd and Homested Rd., said Barbara Kerby, a spokeswoman for the group.
