TWO FANTASY 5 PLAYERS SHARE $195,362 TOP PRIZE

The Florida Lottery announced today that two lucky players matched all five winning numbers in the Thursday, August 20, FANTASY 5 drawing and will share a $195,362.30 top prize.

The lucky winners will each receive 97,681.15.

The winning FANTASY 5 numbers were:

07 – 14 – 19 – 28 – 32

More than 92,000 other FANTASY 5 players won cash prizes or a free Quick Pick ticket for matching two, three or four numbers. Prize payouts are as follows:

299 players matched four numbers and each won $105.00.

8,961 players matched three numbers and each won $9.50.

82,988 players matched two numbers and each won a free Quick Pick ticket.

FANTASY 5’s EZmatch option produced 11,912 winners with prizes totaling

$38,106.00.00.

The next FANTASY 5 drawing will be held tonight at 11:15 p.m. ET. Webcasts of Florida Lottery drawings are available on the Lottery’s Web site at flalottery.com.

Yesterday’s CASH 3 winning numbers were 0-9-8 for the midday drawing and 5-9-6 for the evening drawing. The PLAY 4 winning numbers were 4-6-9-1 for the midday drawing and 4-0-9-2 for the evening drawing.

NAPLES WOMAN CLAIMS $1 MILLION PRIZE IN

BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE–The Florida Lottery today announced that BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER Scratch-Off winner Carol Tweedie, of Naples, claimed her $1 million prize at Florida Lottery headquarters. This marks the 14th Lottery player to claim a $1 million prize in the Scratch-Off game; 106 $1 million prizes remain.

Tweedie chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for her winnings, in the amount of $650,000.00. She purchased her winning ticket from Sweetbay, located at 2400 Immokalee Road in Naples.

The $20 Scratch-Off game, BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER, offers the highest cash payout of any game in the Lottery’s 21-year history. The game launched on February 24, and features more than $1 billion in prizes, including 10 instant-win prizes of $10 million. To date, the game has awarded more than $121 million in prizes. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.98. Tickets may be purchased at any of the more than 13,000 Florida Lottery retail locations statewide.

Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $19 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.
