By Staff | Aug 26, 2009

Deputies are seeking information on a holdup at Spinners Arcade in Fort Myers this morning.
The arcade at 15660 San Carlos Boulevard was held up at 1:35 a.m. by a man who first approached the clerk and a patron who were outside and asked for a cigarette. The patron handed the man a cigarette and asked him if he needed a light. At that point, the robber pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded the clerk give him everything he had. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot and is believed to have gotten into a silver colored vehicle with two other men, officials said.
The gunman is described as a black male in his early to mid 20s, five feet ten inches tall, 160 pounds, wearing dark colored Dickie pants, dark colored T-shirt, black tennis shoes, black beanie cap, and the top row of his teeth covered with gold.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or knows anything about this robbery is asked to call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
