The following upcoming public meetings are scheduled in Lehigh Acres. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in local issues.

Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corp (LACPC) will meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 9 at Veterans Park Community Center. Call 340-8658 for more information. The LACPC meets on the second Wednesday night of each month and is open to the public.

East County Water Control District (ECWCD) will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 28 at their office on East County Lane off of Lee Blvd. Call 368-0044 for more information.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District will meet at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 at Veterans Park Community Center. Call 303-5300 for dates of special meetings concerning the budget hearings during September.

Lehigh Community Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at New Image Ministries, 29 S. Homestead Rd. Email Damon Shelor at president@lehighcouncil.com for more information. The Community Council meets on the third Monday of each month.
