Cape Coral Parks and Recreation to offer new after school program including free week of child care
The Youth Services Division of the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department will team up with King’s Way Christian Center to offer a quality, low-cost after school drop-in program for elementary and middle school students.
The program, set to begin Oct. 5, will be at the King’s Way Christian Center, 2016 Kismet Parkway East, in Cape Coral. Parents who register their child before Oct. 5 will receive the first week free and will not have to pay a registration fee.
The after school program will offer a low children-to-counselor ratio with highly trained and certified child care staff. Each child will be able to enjoy indoor and outdoor games, crafts and homework help. Parents whose children are in need of school bus transportation to the King’s Way Christian Center must make arrangements with the child’s school.
The program is scheduled to begin Oct. 5. Registration begins Monday, Sept. 21. For more information or to register, call the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department at 239-242-3950.
