Ruby K. Hubbard
Ruby King Hubbard, of Lehigh Acres, 77, died September 14, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Joannie Miller King and Allan Kirby King and was born in Fincastle, Ky.
She was a homemaker and worked for 25 years at Southeastern Nursing Home as a qualified medicine aide.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Larry) Herron, Gwendolyn (Paul) Engelkens, and Anna Pierson, all of Lehigh; one son, David W. Hubbard, Lehigh; a sister, Phyllis (Kenneth) Moore of Connorsville, Ind.
Also surviving are three brothers, James (Debby) King, Leroy (Mary) King of Brookville, Ind., Rufus King of Kentucky, and three grandchildren, Tracy (James) Prince of Goshen, Ark., Lindsay Herron, Sarah Pierson, of Lehigh Acres, three grandsons, Todd Baur of San Francisco, Calif., Brian Clevenger of Lehigh, Shane Hubbaard of Daytona Beach, Fla, and seven great grandchildren, Michael, Chris and Jag Prince, Lyla and Kaleb Clevenger, Rorie and Tyler Hubbard, and two step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William R. Hubbard, and a granddaughter, Brenda Clevenger Coleman.
Graveside services are pending at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Tom Boyette of Tampa, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL., 33908.
