Airman Jesse Kow finishes basic training

Airman Jesse Kow of Lehigh Acres has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He was in the 737th Training Group, 321 Training Squadron, Flight 524.

Kow is the son of Henry Kow and Mavis Becker, both of Lehigh Acres.

He is a 2008 graduate of Lehigh Senior High School and previously worked at his family’s restaurant, China Star, as a server.

He is now stationed at Kessler Air Force Base in Mississippi.

Salahu-Din finishes basic training

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Ramadan Salahu-Din graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Sakinah Salahu-Din of Marby Road, Lehigh Acres. Salahu-Din received a bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain.

Williams finishes basic training

Army National Guard Pvt. Louis K. Williams has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

He is the son of Henrietta Williams of Fairway Drive, Lehigh Acres and a 2007 graduate of Lehigh Senior High School, Lehigh.

Partain enters training at Air Force Academy

Joshua M. Partain has entered Basic Cadet Training at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., in preparation to enter the first academic

year at the academy. The six-week, two-phased orientation program must be successfully completed by the cadets prior to entering their freshman year.

He is the son of Christine and stepson of Thomas Gibson of Bainmar Drive, Lehigh Acres. Partain is a 2009 graduate of Gateway Charter High School.

Guardsman Howarth finishes basic training

Army National Guard Pfc. Montana J. Howarth has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Howarth is the son of James and Debra Howarth of Cherrybrook Loop, Fort Myers,and is a 2008 graduate of Charlotte High School, Punta Gorda.
