Catherine V. Mayr

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Lehigh Acres on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Father Dennis Cooney, officiating, for Catherine V. Mayr, 99, of Lehigh Acres.

She died at her home on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

She was born in New York City, and worked for Dugan Brothers in New Jersey for 35 years as office manager. She retired in 1972.

She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mayr.

She is survived by two sisters, Miriam Lloyd, and Mary Galvin; one great niece, and two great nephews. The family said heartfelt thanks are given to caregivers and dear friends, Catherine Simmons and Alice Anderson.

Visitation will be at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, on Monday Sept. 21, 2009 from 4-7 p.m.

Burial will be at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
