Larry E. Chrisman

Larry E. Chrisman, 74, Lehigh Acres, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers.

Chrisman, a salesman for Amertech, retired in 1986, moved to Lehigh and worked in real estate until his death. He was born Aug. 29, 1935 in Vincennes, Ind. He was the son of the late Bill and Opal Chrisman. He attended Indiana State college in Terre Haute, Ind.

He and Sally were married in August 16, 1984.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law of Port Charlotte, Deelynn and Herb Bennett, his daughter and son-in-law Deanna and Russ Martin, Burleson, Texas, and his daughter-in-law Kathy Chrisman, Sheridan, Ind. He is survived by Carole Chrisman, former spouse of Port Charlotte.

he is also survived by step daughters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Tom Errico, of Lehigh Acres, and Cindy and Donald Oakley of Indianapolis. In addition, he is survived by 13 grandchildren; Jeromy, Lauren and R. Grace Chrisman, Daniel, Matthew and Michael Bennett, Derek and Darcy Caputo, Kiersey Robinette, Katherine Proffitt, Dominic Errico, Holly and Kyle Denton. He is survived by great-grandchild Landyn Bennett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Mark A. Chrisman of Sheridan Ind.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 22 at 6 p.m. at Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home, 12777 State Rd 82. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
