It’s called West Coast Injury & Rehabilitation Center and it offers chiropractic care for the treatment for almost every pain, strain, injury or condition that includes back and neck pain, knee, hip and ankle pain, swelling sprains and strains, headaches, post-surgery pain, work related injuries and pain from automobile accidents.

The new medical firm is located at 5624 8th Street West in Suite 111. But it faces Lee Blvd. in a strip center next to another medical facility. To get there, the best way is to take Westgate Blvd. off of Lee Blvd. and turn right on 8th Street West and go to the next to the last strip center on the right.

Tony Rios, the facility’s office manager, lives in Cape Coral. He said the Center recently opened for the people of Lehigh to receive expert care.

Dr. Catalina Torres is the chiropractor who offers advice on the specializing in the assessment and treatment of injury and pain.

“Our dedicated doctors and therapists have the most advanced certification in the rehabilitation field and are committed to providing highly personalized care with effective treatment plans for your individual condition and lifestyle expectations,” she said.

Office Manager Rios noted that the facility has several treatment rooms where therapeutic massages are performed by a member of the staff.

“We will answer any questions or concerns our clients may have regarding their insurance coverage details, he said.

“Chiropractic care has changed vastly over the years. Today, many people depend on chiropractic care to do away with pain from injuries and other causes,” he said. “That includes those with Fibromygia, injuries from falls and Workers Compensation cases,” he said.

The Center is staffed with Torres, Riot and two other people.

“We selected this location because we have easy access for our Fort Myers patients and from those in South Fort Myers and Lehigh and nearby areas. We are basically at the entrance to Lehigh Acres,” he said.

He said Torres also has a separate practice in Cape Coral and usually spends two days a week in Lehigh or additional days when needed.

In the Lehigh center, there is an exercise room and two massage tables in private booths. The facility contains the most modern equipment, Rios said.

The West Coast Injury & Rehabilitation Center recently joined the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce.

“We are a very friendly bunch here,” Rios, who is 32, said. “We are also certified to offer treatment for children and young adults.”

Tawana Cortinas of Lehigh is a massage therapist there and Estrella Henriquez helps with appointments and greets incoming patients.

Rios also noted that everyone associated with West Coast Injury & Rehabilitation Center can speak both English and Spanish.

Hours at the facility are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.

Their phone number is 239-674-7777. You can get more information by going online at: www.InjuryRehabCenter.net.

Rios noted that the goal of the new center is to simplify the healing process and minimize the cost of accident claims by having all services in one location.

He said this one stop care location allows patients to receive optimal rehabilitation services after a motor vehicle accident.

“We designed our center specifically with the patient in mind,” he said.
