Damon Shelor, president of the Community Council of Lehigh Acres has announcedan election for seven council seats. He saidseven council seats are up for election for a three-year term of service on the Community Council. Nominee Applications are now being accepted.

To apply, fill out the application that can befound online and submit a minimum 20 voter petition with legal signatures and Lehigh Acres addresses.

A petition form for the application signature requirement is available online at www.LehighCouncil.com or may be picked up at Panther Bank on Joel Blvd. or LA Insurance on Lee Blvd. To qualify, an applicant must have lived at least one year in Lehigh Acres and be a registered voter, Shelor said.
