The Lehigh Singers invites you to participate at their 1st annual putt-putt golf tournament on October 31, Halloween Day, for a day of fun for all ages and friendly competition.

It’s being held at Tropic Golf Miniature Golf Course

at TownLakes Square, across from 3 Amigos Restaurant & Lounge at 601 Williams Ave.

The event is being sponsored by Robert Bowers Accounting Inc. and other area businesses, to support the cause of the Lehigh Singers.

The Lehigh Singers have been stewards of the arts, especial the vocal music in our community of Lehigh Acres since 1971 and are now playing an even greater role.

Budget cuts at various agencies are creating dire straits for the arts, a spokesman with the group said.

In years past, the Lehigh Singers have succeeded in bringing the arts to the people of Lehigh Acres with performances of their choirs, including the children’s choir and various other events.

Those performances and events, even with all the tireless volunteer support of its members and the community, do cost money and one of the goals of this 1st annual putt-putt golf tournament on October 31 is to raise money for the Lehigh Singers. However, it will be done in an extremely affordable and fun way: you can register your four-some to play, and with a chance to win the tournament, for only $15.

Additionally, there will be prizes not just for the lowest score, but also for the best Halloween costumes of a four-some.

Food and drinks will be available for a small donation as well.
