A mother with two children had her purse snatched Saturday while shopping in the North Fort Myers Wal-Mart at 545 Pine Island Rd.
North Fort Myers resident Cynthia Griggs was with her six-month-old and three-year-old when the incident occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m.
The suspect was described by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department as a white male, approximately 5’6,” wearing black sunglasses, gray T-shirt, blue jean shorts and being approximately 30 years of age. He took the purse from the woman’s shopping cart and fled.
