To the Editor,

Concerning the military plaques at Veterans Park, one of approximately 91 names, only 45 good plaques remain.

A friend of my family, Roy Roberts’ plaque was put up four times.

The last time someone nailed it to the tree.

Just recently someone took a brick and broke the plaque off the tree. What a disgrace to our military.

I have been trying to solve this problem for five years and was told to mind my own business. I am an American and this is my business. Doesn’t anyone care?
